Black history...

Each year one month is dedicated to the knowledge and education of the African American experience.  It has taken over 400 years to comprise and we try to narrow it down to 30 days.  Dr. Carter G Woodson was the creator of Negro History Week which later became Black History Month.  Most say we should be happy that it is acknowledged at all.  I say we need to take our lives and our history into our own hands and continue to create an experience the world will never forget.  Not black history or white history, just history!
